Proxy for bots

The bot is an excellent assistant to PR specialists, relieving them of routine work and many hours spent sending out promotional emails. In social networks, bots can send advertisements, write comments on posts, post information correctly and at the right time, and even reply to messages from other users. The administration of social networks actively blocks such activity, and the bot stops without the ability to work further.

Proxies are used to avoid hiccups in operations, and the address used is not blocked. Social networks actively use HTTP and SOCKS; HTTP is considered a more budgetary and less productive option than SOCKS. Using HTTPS with an increased level of security does not make sense because the information transmitted is unlikely to be exceptionally private.

If we consider a bot that collects information from sites, it is better not to be stingy and prefer HTTPS or SOCKS 5 because they provide excellent protection. If the use of the bot is discovered, its owner may be affected as competitors like to "plant" incorrect information. Compared to blocking, it will bring much more problems.

In general, the proxies depend entirely on the type of bot. For social networks, it is best to give preference to expensive proxies that sufficiently protect from blocking; for parsing and data collection, resident proxies will do (but with HTTPS or SOCKS 5 protocol for more excellent protection of transmitted information).
